Expenditure on kasab

 As the memories of the deadliest day draws near, it's revealed that the government of Maharashtra has spent over 16 Crores in three years on Ajmal Kasab, India's most high-profile prisoner.

The lone Pakistani terrorist captured alive during the Mumbai terror attacks that killed 164 people is now accommodated at the Arthur Road jail. The state home department has spent over 16.17 crore on his accommodation which necessitated building a special cell and deployment of special forces from Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) apart from expenses on his food, safety and medical treatments.

It should also be noted that the expenditure doesn't include the fees paid to the special public prosecutor and his team. And it's reported that the state government is taking a stock of the huge money spent on this Pakistani national in the wake of the third anniversary of the 26/11 attacks.

The city of Mumbai had been in siege as a group of 10 terrorists from its immediate neighbor and archrival Pakistan, who went on a three-day killing spree leaving 164 people dead and 308 injured. Caught alive during the attacks, Kasab received a fair trial in a special court at the end of which sessions court judge M L Tahilyani sentenced him to death.

The legal expenditure alone was estimated to be around 12 Lakhs until the case was challenged in the apex court. Special public prosecutor Ujwal Nikam's fee has reportedly gone up ever since the case was taken to the Supreme Court and he is paid 50,000 a day for every hearing along with business class air travels and VIP suite in the state guesthouse. The state has paid Rs 10.87 crore up to July 2011 for the ITBP who provides 20 commandos equipped with highly sophisticated weaponry and communication devices to provide a round the clock guard to Kasab.

Statue of Liberty

Bartholdi completed both the head and the torch-bearing arm before the statue was fully designed. The statue was constructed in France, shipped overseas and assembled on the completed pedestal.

The year of Indian Cricketing Skills To The World, 1983, India won the World Cup. In the very same year at Muzaffarpur, Bihar, a Devotee was born, not to pray for the god but to pray the Cricket.

Chaudhary used to work in a milk company in Muzaffarpur and later passed an examination to become a teacher. But the Cricketing Instinct In him, made him to quit his job.

“Sachin has promised me that he would provide me with the tickets of all international matches played in our country, and he is living up to his words“-Chaudhary.

While Tendulkar has assured him of tickets in the matches he plays, Chaudhary is worried of the time after Tendulkar retires.

Last year Sachin did not play a match and he missed that because only sachin gives him the tickets. After that he met the cricket board president Pawar(now former) thrice in Delhi and requested him to guarantee him one ticket per match for entire lifetime.

“I don’t want any money, i jus need a ticket to watch my Religion & Passion” he said.

Chaudhary met Pawar thrice in six days in April last year, but he failed out to get a guarantee from him.

“After he ignored him twice, he took an appointment in the name of another person, & covered his painted body with a ‘chadar’ (sheet) and removed it in front of him“-Chaudhary.

kho-kho game

 It is a game of Indian origin which involves speed and control. The year 1959 saw its rules being framed and the Kho-Kho federation was set up in vijayawada-Andhra Pradesh.The game is played with two sides each comprising of 9 players.A match is bifurcated into two innings. The field is in rectangle shape and measures 34 by 16 metres. There are two rectangles each measuring 16m by 4.8m . At 'M' and 'N' we have two wooden poles. 'MN' is the central line which is 24.4m long and 30cm wide. There are 8 small squares measuring 30cm by 30 cm on the lane. Eight players of the fielding team sit on these squares and each player sits in the square with his/her face in opposite direction of the adjacent player. The ninth player stands near the pole. The player standing near the pole is called the chaser while three players of the other team who stand in the field are called runners.They are to be played out by the players of the first team by touching them. The player standing near the pole chases and gives a 'kho' from behind to a seated player. The word 'kho' is spoken at the time of touching the player. Immediately this player stands and runs and tries to touch out the player of the other team.When these three players of the second team are declared out the other three players take their place in the field. They are also touched out.When all the nine players are touched out the same process is repeated again with the other team.

                                                     The time for one innings is 7 minute.If all the players of the second team are touched out in less than seven  minutes, this team again sends its players in the field. The first team's score increases with every player of the second team being touched out. After the first innings is over the second team plays and scores the points.Whichever team scores maximum points is declared winner.
                                     

Tukaram Omble

"On the day terrorists attacked Mumbai, ASI Tukaram Omble, 48, was on the night duty. At 12.30 am on 27 November he had called his family and spoken to them.

Omble's senior told him to take up position on Marine Drive on Wednesday night, after the news of firings at Leopold Cafe, Oberoi and Taj Hotels came in. Around 12.45 am, he got an alert on his walkie-talkie that two terrorists had hijacked a Skoda car and were heading for Girgaum Chowpatty. Just minutes later, the Skoda whizzed past him.

Omble jumped on to his motorcycle and chased the car. A team from DB Marg police station was setting up a barricade at the chowpatty signal. As the car approached the signal, the terrorists opened fire on the police, but had to reduce speed because of the barricades. Omble overtook the Skoda and stopped in front of it, forcing the driver of the car to swerve right and hit the divider. With the terrorists momentarily distracted, Omble sprang toward one of them, Ajmal Kasab, and gripped the barrel of the AK47 rifle with both hands. With the barrel pointing towards Omble, Kasab pulled the trigger, hitting Omble in the abdomen. Omble collapsed, but held on to the gun till he lost consciousness, which likely stopped Kasab from shooting others."

Now you got him, right?? He was the Lion heart who sacrificed himself to save many lives and to arrest Kasab alive..

Do you know where his family is? Do you know what his family does?

No body wants to know that!!

Just try to compare what Govt. spend for Odumble's family and what govt. spends for the mighty terrorist Kasab..

Shouldn't we feel ashamed??

Omble should be awarded the posthumous Bharat Ratna and his name to be etched in golden letters for future generations who may know that it does not take someone big to do a great thing for the nation as Omble clearly did.
